of <h1>Customs revises values under Section 14(2) for palm oil, soybean oil, brass scrap, areca nut, gold, silver from Nov 2025</h1> Under powers of section 14(2) of the Customs Act, the central customs authority amends the existing tariff-value notification by substituting three tables fixing tariff values for specified goods: crude and refined palm oils and palmolein (US$1,113-1,148/MT range), crude soybean oil (US$1,187/MT), brass scrap (US$6,096/MT), areca nut (US$7,142/MT), and specified gold and silver forms (gold US$1,285 per 10g; silver US$1,556/kg). The amendment takes effect from 1 November 2025.
