of <h1>Government restricts import of unstudded platinum jewellery under Sections 3 and 5, Foreign Trade Act, till 30 April 2026</h1> By exercising powers under Sections 3 and 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 and relevant provisions of Foreign Trade Policy 2023, the Central Government revises the import policy for ITC HS 71131921 (unstudded platinum jewellery under Chapter 71 of ITC (HS) 2022, Schedule I). The policy status is changed from 'Free' to 'Restricted' with immediate effect until 30 April 2026. Import of this item will now be subject to applicable restrictions, licenses, or conditions as prescribed by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade.
