of <h1>Import policy for silver jewellery (ITC(HS) 71131141, 71131149) changed from Free to Restricted under Notification No. 34/2025-26</h1> The central trade authority, exercising powers under the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 and the Foreign Trade Policy, has amended Schedule I (Import Policy) of ITC (HS) 2022 to change the import policy for ITC(HS) codes 71131141 and 71131149 (articles of jewellery of silver) from 'Free' to 'Restricted.' The amendment takes effect immediately and remains in force until 31 March 2026, as notified by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade under Notification No. 34/2025-26 dated 24 September 2025.
