of <h1>Anti-Dumping Duty on Melamine Imports from China Extended Until October 2009 Under Customs Tariff Act, 1975.</h1> The Central Government has decided to continue the imposition of anti-dumping duty on Melamine imports originating from or exported by the People's Republic of China. This decision follows a review initiated by the designated authority under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and related rules. The anti-dumping duty, originally imposed by notification No. 107/2004-CUSTOMS dated November 16, 2004, will remain in effect until October 1, 2009, unless revoked earlier. This measure aims to protect domestic industries from injury caused by dumped imports of Melamine from China.
