<h1>CBIC amends tariff values for edible oils, metals, and precious metals effective July 16, 2025</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs issued a notification amending tariff values for specific commodities effective July 16, 2025. The notification establishes new tariff values for edible oils including crude palm oil at $998 per metric tonne, RBD palm oil at $1029, and crude soybean oil at $1102. Brass scrap is valued at $5690 per metric tonne. Gold tariff value is set at $1078 per 10 grams and silver at $1259 per kilogram. Areca nuts remain unchanged at $6970 per metric tonne. The notification amends the principal notification from August 2001.
