<h1>CBIC sets new tariff values for edible oils, metals, and precious metals effective July 1, 2025</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs issued a notification fixing tariff values for various commodities effective July 1, 2025. The notification establishes specific tariff values for edible oils including crude palm oil ($1006/MT), RBD palm oil ($1032/MT), crude soya bean oil ($1095/MT), and palmolein variants. Brass scrap is valued at $5563/MT, while areca nuts remain at $6970/MT. Gold tariff value is set at $1054 per 10 grams and silver at $1164 per kilogram for specified forms and import categories under relevant customs notifications.
