Initially set to expire on March 31, 2025, the policy now allows free importation until March 31, 2026. This amendment is enacted under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, and aligns with the Foreign Trade Policy 2023. The notification was approved by the Minister of Commerce & Industry and issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade.
