of <h1>India Updates Import Limits for Pet Coke: New Rules for 2024-25 and 2025-26 Under ITC (HS) Chapter 27.</h1> The Central Government has amended the import policy for Raw Pet Coke (RPC) and Calcined Pet Coke (CPC) under Chapter 27 of the ITC (HS) 2022. The revised policy permits the import of 1.9 million metric tons of RPC for CPC manufacturing and 0.5 million metric tons of CPC for the aluminum industry during 2024-25. From 2025-26 onwards, 1.9 million metric tons of RPC and 0.8 million metric tons of CPC will be allowed. Imports must be used as feedstock, not fuel, and adhere to domestic needs and relevant regulations. Export of CPC and anodes is prohibited. Compliance with the Commission for Air Quality Management's order is mandatory.
