of <h1>India Expands Vehicle Import Access: Mundra Port and ICD Garhi Harsaru Added to Approved List of Ports and ICDs.</h1> The Central Government has amended the import policy for new vehicles, adding Mundra Port and ICD Garhi Harsaru to the existing list of 16 authorized ports and Inland Container Depots (ICDs). This change is made under the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, and the Foreign Trade Policy 2023, and is effective immediately. The import of new vehicles is now permitted through a total of 18 specified ports and ICDs, including seaports, airports, and ICDs. This notification has been approved by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
