of <h1>India Allows Export of Non-Basmati White Rice to Five African Nations via NCEL; Total 240,000 MT Allocated.</h1> Notification No. 48/2023, dated December 7, 2023, from the Directorate General of Foreign Trade under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, permits the export of Non-basmati White Rice (HS Code 10063090) to Comoros, Madagascar, Equatorial Guinea, Egypt, and Kenya. The export is to be conducted through National Cooperative Exports Limited (NCEL). The specified quantities are 20,000 MT for Comoros, 50,000 MT for Madagascar, 10,000 MT for Equatorial Guinea, 60,000 MT for Egypt, and 100,000 MT for Kenya. This is executed under the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, and the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023.
