of <h1>New Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies in Import/Export Set by CBIC Notification No. 61/2023, Effective 18 Aug 2023.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, under the Ministry of Finance, issued Notification No. 61/2023 dated 17th August 2023, which supersedes Notification No. 57/2023. This notification sets the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian rupees for imported and export goods, effective from 18th August 2023. The rates are detailed in Schedule I and Schedule II, listing currencies such as the US Dollar, Euro, and Japanese Yen, among others. The notification was later superseded by Notification No. 64/2023, effective from 7th September 2023.
