of <h1>New Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies Announced by Indian Finance Ministry, Effective August 4, 2023.</h1> Notification No. 57/2023 issued by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, revises the exchange rates for foreign currencies into Indian rupees for imported and export goods, effective from August 4, 2023. This supersedes Notification No. 54/2023. The exchange rates vary for different currencies, such as the US Dollar set at 83.60 for imports and 81.90 for exports, and the Euro at 92.10 and 88.90, respectively. The notification includes detailed rates for various currencies in Schedules I and II.
