of <h1>New Customs Notification Sets Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies in Import/Export Transactions Effective September 7, 2023.</h1> Notification No. 64/2023-Customs (N.T.) issued by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, effective from September 7, 2023, supersedes Notification No. 61/2023. It sets the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian rupees for imported and exported goods. For example, the exchange rate for the US Dollar is 83.95 INR for imports and 82.20 INR for exports. The notification includes detailed exchange rates for various currencies such as the Australian Dollar, Euro, and Japanese Yen, among others, applicable for both import and export transactions.
