Government Extends Shree Jalaram Janseva Trust Project for 3 More Years; Budget Increased to Rs. 86 Lakhs

The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the project by Shree Jalaram Janseva Trust in Gujarat, which involves the operation of an eye hospital, ayurvedic clinic, homeopathy clinic, and educational activities. Initially approved for three years starting in the 1998-99 assessment year, the project has been extended for an additional three years beginning with the 2001-2002 assessment year. The project cost has been revised from Rs. 51 lakhs to Rs. 86 lakhs, following the National Committee's recommendation, acknowledging the project's proper execution and anticipated continuation beyond the initial period.
