Government Extends Eligibility for Dharamraj Health and Education Project, Increases Funding to Rs. 89.50 Lakhs.

The Central Government has amended a previous notification to extend the eligibility of a project involving the construction and operation of an Eye Hospital, Ayurvedic Clinic, Homeopathy Clinic, and Educational Activities in Dharamraj, District Kaira, Gujarat. Initially approved for three years starting in the 1998-99 assessment year and extended for another three years from 2001-2002, the project is now approved for an additional three years starting in the 2004-2005 assessment year. The approved project cost has been increased from Rs. 86.00 lakhs to Rs. 89.50 lakhs, as recommended by the National Committee for the Promotion of Social and Economic Change.
