of <h1>Anti-Dumping Duty on Jute Products from Nepal & Bangladesh Extended Until November 2022 to Protect Local Industries.</h1> The notification issued by the Ministry of Finance extends the levy of anti-dumping duty (ADD) on jute products originating from or exported from Nepal and Bangladesh. This extension follows a review initiated by the designated authority under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. The products affected include jute yarn/twine, hessian fabric, and jute sacking bags. The anti-dumping duty, initially imposed by a notification in January 2017, will now remain effective until November 30, 2022, unless revoked or amended earlier. This measure aims to protect domestic industries from unfair pricing practices.
