of <h1>Customs Duty Exemption on Remdesivir Imports and Diagnostic Kits Until Oct 31, 2021, per Notification No. 27/2021-Customs.</h1> The Central Government, under Notification No. 27/2021-Customs dated April 20, 2021, has exempted customs duty on the import of Remdesivir injection, Remdesivir Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), and Beta Cyclodextrin (SBEBCD) used in the manufacture of Remdesivir. This exemption is applicable until October 31, 2021, and requires compliance with the Customs (Import of Goods at Concessional Rate of Duty) Rules, 2017. Additionally, inflammatory diagnostic kits such as IL6, D-Dimer, CRP, LDH, Ferritin, Pro Calcitonin, and blood gas reagents are also included under this exemption.
