of <h1>New Policy Allows Free Import of Porcine Intestinal Mucosa with Permit Under Exim Code 05040039, Chapter 05.</h1> The Central Government has introduced a new policy condition under Exim Code 05040039 of Chapter 05 of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule-I (Import Policy). The import of porcine intestinal mucosa, including guts, bladders, and stomachs of animals (excluding fish), is now classified as 'free' under this code. However, this is contingent upon obtaining a Sanitary Import Permit from the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, as per Notification S.O 2666(E) dated 17.10.2014 under the Livestock Importation Act (Amendment), 2001. Other items under this code remain 'restricted' according to existing policy conditions.
