<h1>India Amends Export Policy for Bangalore Rose and Krishnapuram Onions; Limits Exports to 10,000 Tons Each via Chennai Port.</h1> The Central Government has amended the export policy for Bangalore Rose Onions and Krishnapuram Onions, allowing the export of up to 10,000 metric tons each until March 31, 2021. Exports are restricted to Chennai port and require certification from relevant horticulture authorities in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Exporters must register these certificates with the respective offices of the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) in Bangalore and Chennai. Customs at Chennai port will permit exports based on these certifications and registrations. This policy change is effective immediately, as per Notification No. 39/2015-2020.
