of <h1>Import of stock-lot paper under HSN 4810 moved from 'Free' to 'Prohibited' in ITC(HS) 2017 Schedule I</h1> By notification dated 31 January 2020, the competent government authority amended Schedule I (Import Policy) of ITC(HS) 2017 to introduce a policy condition under HSN code 4810: imports of 'stock lot' items across all listed subheadings (various art papers, coated papers, insulating papers, multi-ply, etc.) are now prohibited. Previously classified as 'Free' for import, the import policy for stock lots under Chapter 48 HSN 4810 is revised to 'Prohibited' effective from the notification, issued under the relevant foreign trade legislation with ministerial approval.
