This condition mandates that the registration of imported vehicles by manufacturers, authorized representatives, organizations, or individuals for personal use, demonstration, testing, research, or scientific purposes must adhere to the Standard Operating Procedure outlined in the Central Motor Vehicles (Eleventh Amendment) Rules, 2018. This amendment, effective as of 28 August 2019, aligns with the rules notified by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
