of <h1>India Delays Higher Customs Duties on US Imports to June 16, 2019, Amending Earlier Notification.</h1> Notification No. 15/2019-Customs, issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, amends Notification No. 50/2017-Customs to delay the implementation of increased customs duties on certain imports from the USA. Originally set to take effect on May 16, 2019, the new effective date is June 16, 2019. This amendment is made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, and the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, deemed necessary in the public interest. The notification was published in the Gazette of India on May 14, 2019.
