<h1>India Amends Import Policy: Oxytocin Import Prohibited Under Exim Codes in Chapters 29 & 30 of ITC (HS) 2017.</h1> The Central Government of India, under the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020, has amended the import policy conditions for certain Exim Codes under Chapters 29 and 30 of the ITC (HS) 2017. The amendment specifically prohibits the import of Oxytocin, a hormone used for various therapeutic purposes, under several Exim Codes including 29371900, 29372900, 29379019, 29379090, and 3004. This decision is enacted under the powers conferred by Section 3 of the FT (D&R) Act, 1992, and communicated by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
