of <h1>India Amends Import Policy for Vigna Mungo and Vigna Radiata Beans; Extends Restrictions to Split Forms Under Chapter 7.</h1> The Government of India has amended the import policy for beans of the species Vigna mungo (L.) Hepper and Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek under Chapter 7 of the ITC (HS) 2017, Schedule-I. Previously, the import of these beans was restricted with an annual quota of 3 lakh metric tons. The amendment extends this restriction to include split and other forms of these beans under EXIM codes 0713 90 10 and 0713 90 90, alongside the existing restriction under HS code 0713 31 00. The annual import quota remains at 3 lakh metric tons, with specific conditions outlined in Policy Condition 3.
