of <h1>India-Mozambique MOU: 150,000 MT of Pigeon Peas Import to 5 Ports, Requires Certificate & NOC from DGFT.</h1> The circular outlines the implementation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between India and Mozambique for the import of 150,000 MT of pigeon peas and other pulses from Mozambique to India during the 2018-19 fiscal year. Importation is restricted to five Indian ports and requires a 'Certificate of Origin' from Mozambique's authorized signatories. Importers must send a scanned copy of the certificate to designated email addresses for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), which will be compared with the original document for customs clearance.
