of <h1>India Bans Seal Skin Imports: Amendment to ITC (HS) 2017 Schedule-1 u/s 3 of FT (D&R) Act, 1992.</h1> The Government of India, through the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, has issued Notification No. 59/2015-2020, dated March 28, 2018, amending the import policy under Chapters 41, 42, and 43 of the ITC (HS) 2017 Schedule-1. The policy condition prohibits the import of seal skin in any form. This amendment is enacted under the authority of Section 3 of the FT (D&R) Act, 1992, and aligns with the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020.
