of <h1>India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duties on Chinese Ceramic Tableware Until 2022 to Protect Domestic Industry.</h1> The notification from the Ministry of Finance, dated February 21, 2018, imposes definitive anti-dumping duties on ceramic tableware and kitchenware, excluding knives and toilet items, originating from or exported by China. This decision follows findings that such imports were causing material injury to the domestic industry by being sold at dumped prices. The duty, effective for five years from June 12, 2017, is set at USD 1.04 per kilogram and is payable in Indian currency. The duty is not applicable between December 11, 2017, and the publication date of this notification.
