of <h1>New Chairperson and Members Appointed to Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority Under Companies Act 2013.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. S.O 1647, dated 2nd May 2016, under the Companies Act, 2013, appointing a new Chairperson and Members to the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority. The appointees include the Secretary of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs as Chairperson and officials from the Reserve Bank of India and the Securities and Exchange Board of India as Members, among others. The term of office for these members is governed by specific rules, and they are entitled to reimbursement for meeting-related expenses. These changes are effective from the date of notification publication.
