India Imposes Five-Year Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese Para Nitro Aniline Imports to Protect Domestic Industry.
The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has imposed an anti-dumping duty on imports of Para Nitro Aniline (PNA) originating from or exported by China. This follows a sunset review which concluded that such imports were being sold below normal value, causing injury to the domestic industry, except for exports by a specific Chinese company through a designated trading company. The anti-dumping duty, set at $256.48 per metric ton for most imports, will be effective for five years. The duty is intended to protect domestic producers from unfair pricing practices.
