of <h1>India Extends Customs Duty Exemption to Jute Products from Nepal under Notification No. 15/2017-Customs.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has amended Notification No. 8/2011-Customs dated February 14, 2011, to extend the exemption of additional customs duty to include specified jute products imported from Nepal. This amendment, enacted under the Customs Act, 1962, is deemed necessary in the public interest. The words 'or Nepal' are inserted following 'from Bangladesh' in the original notification. This change is formalized under Notification No. 15/2017-Customs, dated April 20, 2017.
