of <h1>Central Government Extends Tax Benefit Eligibility for Jammu Hospital Project by BEE ENN Charitable Trust u/s 35AC.</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of a project by BEE ENN Charitable Trust in Jammu under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially approved in 1994 for constructing an 80-bed General Hospital, the project was eligible for tax benefits for three years starting from the 1995-96 assessment year, later extended to 1998-99. The National Committee, satisfied with the project's execution, recommended another three-year extension starting from the 2001-2002 assessment year. The hospital, located on Talab Tillo Road, Jammu, covers 16,449 sq. ft. and is estimated to cost approximately 23.89 million rupees.
