of <h1>India Amends Project Imports Regulations: Expands Cold Storage Scope to Include Cold Chain, Packhouses, and Ripening Chambers.</h1> Notification No. 20/2016-Customs, issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, amends the Project Imports Regulations, 1986. Effective from March 1, 2016, the amendment modifies the description under serial number 3H in the regulations. It replaces 'Cold storage, cold room (including for farm level pre-cooling)' with 'Cold storage, cold room (including for farm level pre-cooling), cold chain including pre-cooling unit, packhouses, sorting and grading lines and ripening chambers.' This change aims to expand the scope of facilities covered under the Project Imports Regulations.
