of <h1>India Revises Onion Export Policy: New Minimum Export Price Set at $850 FOB Per Metric Ton.</h1> The Government of India has revised the Minimum Export Price (MEP) for onions, effective immediately. Under the amended policy, the export of onions listed under Serial Numbers 51 and 52 of Chapter 7 in the ITC (HS) classification will be permitted only with a Letter of Credit and is subject to an MEP of US$ 850 F.O.B per metric ton. This revision updates the previous MEP from US$ 700 F.O.B per metric ton to US$ 400 F.O.B per metric ton, as per the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20.
