of <h1>Government Amends Customs Notification to Update Designations in Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence and Customs Roles</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 60/2015-Cus (N.T.) dated 4th June 2015, under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962. The amendments involve changes in designations within the Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence and Customs. The term 'Principal Director General, Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence' is replaced with 'Principal Director General or the Director General, Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence.' Additionally, 'Commissioner of Customs' is replaced with 'Principal Commissioner or Commissioner or Additional Commissioner or Joint Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner or Assistant Commissioner of Customs.' These changes are deemed necessary in the public interest.
