of <h1>Govt Extends Tax Benefits for Gujarat's Elderly Ladies Project by Shri Bhagini Mitra Mandal Under Section 35AC</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the project 'Home for elderly ladies and corpus for running the projects' by Shri Bhagini Mitra Mandal, New Sarvoday Society in Gujarat, under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially notified in 2009 and extended in 2013, the project will continue to be recognized as eligible for tax benefit purposes for an additional three years, covering the financial years 2015-16, 2016-17, and 2017-18. The approved project cost remains at 7.13 crore, as recommended by the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
