of <h1>Government Extends Approval for Gujarat Elderly Home Project Under Section 35AC; Revised Cost Rs. 7.13 Crore</h1> The Central Government has extended approval for the project 'Home for elderly ladies and corpus for running the projects' by an organization in Gujarat for an additional three years, covering financial years 2012-13 to 2014-15, under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. The project, initially approved in 2009 with a cost estimate of Rs. 2.5 crore, has now been revised to Rs. 7.13 crore. However, no tax deduction certificates will be issued for the financial year 2012-13 as it has already passed.
