of <h1>Iskcon's Mid Day Meal Project in Rajasthan Extended Under Section 35AC for 2015-18 with 10.55 Crore Budget.</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the 'Mid Day Meal Project in the state of Rajasthan,' executed by Iskcon Food Relief Foundation, as an eligible project under Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially notified for three years starting in the financial year 2009-10 and extended in 2012, the project is now approved for an additional three years from 2015-16 to 2017-18. The project will continue with the previously approved budget of 10.55 crore, following a recommendation by the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
