of <h1>Govt extends tax benefits for Andh Kalyan Kendra project under Section 35AC for FY 2015-16 and 2016-17.</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the project 'Construction, equipments, furnishing and running of Andh Kalyan Kendra at Village Ranip, District Ahmedabad' for tax benefits under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This project, executed by an organization in Ahmedabad, has been recognized for a further three-year period, covering financial years 2014-15, 2015-16, and 2016-17, with an approved cost of 105.97 lakh. However, no certificates will be issued for the financial year 2014-15 as it has already lapsed. The extension follows a recommendation from the National Committee for the Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
