Originally notified in 1996, the project has received multiple extensions, with the latest extension covering the financial years 2011-12, 2012-13, and 2013-14. The approved cost remains Rs. 105.97 lakh. However, no certificate for the financial year 2011-12 will be issued as it has already lapsed. The project is executed by Andh Kalyan Kendra, located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
