of <h1>Government Extends Eligibility for Gujarat Hospital Project Under Section 35AC, Increasing Cost to 29 Crore Until 2017</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the 'Shree Nirdoshanandji Manav Seva Trust Hospital' project in Gujarat under Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Originally notified in 2009 with an estimated cost of 3.44 crore, the project was extended and its cost increased to 9.75 crore in 2012. The project is now further extended for three years, from 2014-15 to 2016-17, with an enhanced cost of 29 crore, including a corpus fund of 20 crore. This decision follows recommendations from the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
