of <h1>Amendment to Company Law Board Rules: Service Extension for Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Members by Up to One Year</h1> The Ministry of Corporate Affairs issued an amendment to the Company Law Board (Qualifications, Experience and Other Conditions of Service of Members) Rules, 1993, effective from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. This amendment allows the Central Government to extend the service of the Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Members of the Company Law Board by up to one year or until the National Company Law Tribunal is constituted, whichever occurs first. This amendment is made under the powers conferred by specific sections of the Companies Act, 1956.
