This project, managed by an organization in Tumkur, has been recognized as an eligible scheme under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially approved in 1995, the project has received multiple extensions and is now approved for an additional three years from the financial year 2013-14 to 2015-16, with an unchanged cost of Rs. 2.92 crore.
