<h1>State mandates Entrepreneurship Mindset Course for BBA, BCom, BTech, BVoc students from 2025-26; expands to all degrees in 2026-27</h1> The state government announced an Entrepreneurship Mindset Course (EMC) for universities, Industrial Training Institutes and polytechnic colleges, making it mandatory for BBA, BCom, BTech and BVoc students from 2025-26 and extending to all degree programmes from 2026-27. The 2025-26 rollout covers 20 universities, 320 ITIs and 91 polytechnics, reaching 150,000 students, with a target of 500,000 by 2028-29. The EMC teaches communication, financial management, budgeting, marketing, business operations and AI tools to promote venture creation, employment generation and socioeconomic development, addressing perceived shortcomings of the existing education model.
