Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 24 (PTI) Technopark, one of the country’s premier IT parks, recorded software export revenue of Rs 17,092 crore in FY 2025-26, marking a year-on-year growth of approximately 17.3 per cent, officials said here on Thursday.

The export revenue increased by Rs 2,517 crore from Rs 14,575 crore in FY 2024-25, they said.

Sandeep Kumar, IAS, CEO, Technopark, said the robust growth in software exports reflected the strength of Keralam’s dynamic IT ecosystem.

The world-class infrastructure and highly skilled talent pool have bolstered the state’s IT ecosystem, which continues to grow significantly, he said in a statement.

"Many of Technopark’s companies made a mark during the year, winning national and international accolades for business growth, innovation and workplace excellence," he noted.

The CEO added that the campus had also evolved into a dynamic hub for India’s fast-growing startup ecosystem, further reinforcing Keralam’s position as a leading IT destination.

Keralam’s first IT corridor, Technopark, came up along the National Highway from Kazhakkoottam to Kovalam and has, over the years, transformed into a nucleus of high-tech activity.

The ongoing development of its Phase III and Phase IV campuses will further consolidate its position as one of the country’s largest IT hubs.

Spread across 768.63 acres, with 13.147 million square feet of IT built-up space, Technopark hosts 540 IT/ITeS companies, providing 84,000 direct jobs and more than two lakh indirect jobs, it said. PTI LGK SSK
