Left party says Special Intensive Revision voter list 'conceals more than it reveals', demands answers on 300,000 notices and deletions
A left political party criticized the final voter list released after the Special Intensive Revision in Bihar, saying it 'conceals more than it reveals' and questioning the fate of roughly 300,000 electors who received notices to substantiate documents. The party urged the Election Commission to disclose how many foreign nationals were detected, whether Aadhaar was accepted as a stand-alone document, how many deletions were wrongful, and how many multi-occupancy addresses were verified. Despite addition of over 2 million presumed new voters, the final electorate shrank by about 4.7 million after the exercise.
