<h1>Labour welfare reforms expand occupational disease coverage and digital single window access for workers, plus new labour courts.</h1> The State announced a labour welfare and regulatory reform package expanding the Silicosis Rehabilitation Policy to additional occupational diseases and detailing rehabilitation, death, funeral, and pension benefits delivered partly through Direct Benefit Transfer. It introduced digital and single window access via the Shramik Saathi mobile app, a job loser portal, five Shramik Suvidha Kendras, worker sheds, and an online auto renewal for motor transport workers. Complementary measures include exemption from Shops and Establishments registration for small employers and the establishment of five new Labour Courts with an e Court system.
