<h1>Government unveils wide labour welfare package: cash DBT for occupational diseases, mobile worker platform, skilling, worker centres</h1> The state government announced comprehensive labour-law and welfare measures including cash transfers to beneficiaries, a mobile 'one-stop' platform for worker registration and grievances, and a silicosis rehabilitation policy expanded to cover additional occupational diseases with specified DBT benefits (rehabilitation, death, funeral, health and family pensions). The package includes education stipends for workers' children, establishment of five Shramik Suvidha Kendras, 150 worker sheds, an online portal for displaced workers offering counselling and skilling, auto-renewal under the Motor Transport Workers Act, exemption from Shops and Establishments registration for units with fewer than 20 employees, and five new labour courts plus an e-court system to expedite dispute resolution.
