<h1>Section 8 EV industry association launches annual conclave to scale interoperable public charging, promote roaming, and influence policy</h1> A newly established Section 8 not-for-profit industry association representing charge point operators, equipment manufacturers and energy players hosted its annual EV charging conclave to coordinate sector-wide efforts to scale interoperable, reliable public charging infrastructure and influence policy and regulation. The association announced initiatives to raise consumer awareness, promote roaming and interoperability, and engage with government, regulators and utilities to develop practical, implementable frameworks supporting grid integration and investment. Members include major CPOs, OEMs and energy companies, which will collaborate on standards, reliability benchmarks and policy advocacy to support national EV adoption and net-zero commitments.
