of <h1>CBEC Announces Unchanged Tariff Values for Palm Oils; Sets New Rates for Brass Scrap and Poppy Seeds.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) under the Department of Revenue has issued a notification detailing the tariff values for various commodities. The tariff values for crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, and other palm oil products remain unchanged. Similarly, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, and other palmolein products also see no change in tariff values. However, brass scrap is set at a tariff value of USD 4,295 per metric tonne, and poppy seeds are valued at USD 6,898 per metric tonne. These updates are effective as of September 1, 2008.
