<h1>University welcomes 290 new undergraduates to Monsoon Semester 2025; 60%+ female cohort starts interdisciplinary foundation program</h1> The university commenced its Monsoon Semester 2025 welcoming 290 new undergraduate entrants across its five-year programs in architecture, urban design, civil engineering, interior design and design. The incoming cohort is over 60% female and represents students from 19 states and union territories. An orientation led by senior faculty introduced the institution's foundation program, a core first-year pedagogical model emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration, studio practice and skills such as drawing, model-making, data collection and representation, culminating in a field visit and project work to develop critical thinking and creative inquiry.
