Quick Watering Arrangements were operational at 81 of 109 identified stations, with 28 stations delayed two to four years. Budget variances showed both substantial overspends and underutilisation across zones. Automatic coach washing plants were underutilised, prompting external washing of 132,060 coaches. Clean Train Station contracts underperformed, and onboard housekeeping satisfaction varied by zone; one zone's BOOT laundry was noted as efficient.
